Turkmen 1

"Yap Boyunda (Bilezik)" is a Turkmen folk song about love and wanting something back. It tells the story of a person who is asking a boy to return their bracelet. The song describes how the person sees the boy by the creek and feels that his gaze brings bad luck. They desperately ask the boy to give back the bracelet they took. The song also mentions another boy who comes to their village and sells red apples. This boy sent a message to the person, and they ask him to return the bracelet as well. The person explains that they haven't been near the creek or done anything wrong. They deny taking the boy's bracelet and insist that he has it and should return it. The person expresses their longing by saying they want to be a flower at the boy's doorstep, a singing bird, or even a wound for the boy. They are willing to do anything to get the bracelet back. In response, the person asks the boy to be a flower at their doorstep, a singing bird, and to be their beloved. It seems that the boy finally agrees to give back the bracelet. The song ends by saying that their love is strong and no enemies can come between them. The mention of the apple causing distress implies that the bracelet is very important to the person. They are happy to have found someone who loves them just as much, and it is implied that the bracelet has been returned, strengthening their relationship.
